Two Thursdays ago was our first “real” game of Kickball for the summer season and it was awesome!
Three weeks ago we had a pick-up game that was a lot of fun but ridiculously hot. The season was supposed to start last week but there were only three teams that signed up for the Wednesday night league so we switched back to the Thursday night. This meant that we missed the first game however. I think we’re going to get to make it up by playing a couple double-header games towards the end of the season.
I’ve made friends with several people on another kickball team and we played them last week. They are on team “99 problems but a pitch ain’t one”; very original. š
It was soooo much fun! We lost the game but had a great time. We played a beer in hand inning with everyone on the team playing at once (we had about 30 people show up to play with us) and we still couldn’t catch the ball haha
Last week was Pimp & Ho theme night at kickball. Our team won theme night but lost the game 5-4 which was ok. We finally looked like we knew what we were doing which was awesome and everyone had a great time! Here are some pictures:
